A government-led public outreach program in Rasulpur, a border village under the Samjhia Gram Panchayat in Kumarganj Block, drew a strong response on Tuesday as large numbers of tribal and marginalized residents gathered to raise concerns about access to public services and welfare schemes.

Organized by the block administration, the Jan Bhagidari (public participation) initiative provided a platform for residents to present grievances, seek assistance and engage directly with government officials. Participants voiced concerns related to certificates, social welfare allowances, housing benefits and other government-supported services.

Officials present at the camp listened to residents’ complaints and assured them of necessary support, according to administrative sources. The administration said the program is aimed primarily at addressing the concerns of tribal and socially disadvantaged communities, while also improving awareness of government schemes and expanding service delivery in underserved areas. Many attendees used the opportunity to gather information about eligibility and procedures related to state welfare benefits.

The Rasulpur camp followed an earlier Jan Bhagidari event held on Monday in Tara village under Safanagar Gram Panchayat. Administrative officials said the next outreach program is scheduled to take place in the Jakhirpur Gram Panchayat area on Wednesday.“We will continue organizing such Jan Bhagidari programs regularly for the convenience of the people,” said Kabirul Haque, BCW Inspector of Kumarganj Block.
