Chakram Primary School, a government-run primary institution under the Bhatpara Gram Panchayat in South Dinajpur district, received new digital learning equipment on Friday through the legislator development fund of former Balurghat MLA Dr. Ashok Lahiri.
Representatives of the designated agency arrived at the school, which falls under the Balurghat Sadar Circle, and installed a digital projector system along with a projection screen to support modern classroom teaching. The initiative is aimed at introducing technology-assisted education for young students in the rural school.
Students expressed excitement after receiving access to the new educational tools, teachers said.“We have received a projector machine, screen equipment and also a purified drinking water machine from him today,” said Gautam Chowdhury, the head teacher of the school.
Mr. Chowdhury added that the school administration plans to seek further infrastructural support and educational resources from the new government in the coming years.The installation reflects a growing push across rural Bengal schools to incorporate digital learning methods into primary education while also improving basic facilities such as safe drinking water.
