Election campaigning gathered momentum on.Monday at the Balurghat District Court premises , where Dr.Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State and Member of Parliament from Balurghat, appeared alongside Bharatiya Janata Party's Balurghat assembly constituency candidate Bidyut Kumar Roy.


Dr.Sukanta Majumdar campaigned in support of Mr.Bidyut Roy, the party’s nominee for the 39th Balurghat Assembly constituency, engaging directly with members of the legal community. He appealed to lawyers present in the court complex to extend their support and vote decisively in favor of the candidate in the upcoming election.Mr.Bidyut Roy, described by supporters as both a seasoned lawyer and a dedicated social worker, appeared to draw a favorable response from the legal fraternity. His professional background and longstanding association with the court premises were seen as contributing factors to the positive reception during the campaign.

Addressing the gathering, Mr.Bidyut Roy expressed strong confidence ahead of the election, stating that public support remained firmly in his favor and voicing certainty about securing victory.The event underscored the growing intensity of electoral activity in the region, as candidates and party leaders increasingly turn to targeted outreach efforts among professional groups in the final stretch before Election.
