Union Minister of State and Balurghat Member of Parliament Dr.Sukanta Majumdar arrived in Balurghat by helicopter on Friday to assess preparations for the Prime Minister’s proposed public rally scheduled for Saturday.
Earlier in the day, Dr.Sukanta Majumdar had attended the unveiling of a “Sankalp Patra” in Kolkata. Soon after the event, he departed for Balurghat, underscoring the significance of the upcoming political gathering.
Upon landing at Balurghat Airport, Dr. Majumdar spoke briefly with journalists, addressing a range of questions regarding the rally arrangements and political developments in the region. He subsequently traveled to Kushmandi, where he personally reviewed on-the-ground preparations to ensure readiness for the Prime Minister’s visit.
Local party workers and administrative teams have intensified efforts in recent days, with heightened security measures and logistical planning underway ahead of the high-profile event.
