A large political road show was held on Sunday in support of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Bidyut Kumar Roy in the 39th Balurghat Assembly constituency, drawing significant crowds across key areas of the town.
The event was led by BJP’s national president Nitin Nabin, who joined the procession and sought to energize local support ahead of the election. The road show began at the Mangalpur BJP Mor and proceeded through prominent locations including the bus stand and Balurghat market, covering several major thoroughfares.
Supporters lined the streets in large numbers, creating a visibly enthusiastic atmosphere. Throughout the procession, Mr.Nitin Nabin waved to onlookers and urged residents to back Mr.Bidyut Kumar Roy in the upcoming election. He also introduced the candidate to passersby, often holding his hand as a symbolic gesture of endorsement.Addressing the public, Mr.Nitin Nabin appealed to voters to cast their ballots in favor of Mr.Bidyut Kumar Roy, expressing confidence that he would represent Balurghat effectively if elected as its legislator.The event underscored the BJP’s efforts to consolidate grassroots support in the region as the election approaches.
