Observer Stresses on Security & Coordination for Peaceful Voting

In a significant move to ensure the smooth conduct of the upcoming elections, a high-level review meeting was held at the Gangarampur Block Development Office (BDO). The session was presided over by the Election Observer for the 41-Gangarampur Assembly Constituency to evaluate ground-level readiness.
The meeting was attended by the Returning Officer (RO), the Police Observer, and the BDOs of both Gangarampur and Tapan blocks. Sector Officers and Assistant Sector Officers were also present to receive strategic guidelines aimed at maintaining a disciplined and organized electoral process.
Key discussions centered on booth-level security arrangements and coordination between the police and civil administration to ensure a peaceful environment. The Observer emphasized the importance of seamless communication among departments and directed officials to maintain a vigilant presence, particularly in sensitive areas across Gangarampur and Tapan blocks.
The administration reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a transparent and fair election. Sector Officers have been instructed to conduct regular booth inspections and proactively address any logistical requirements. The meeting is being viewed as a vital step in the district's comprehensive preparation for the upcoming polls.
