BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ Begins in South Dinajpur With Senior Party Leaders in Attendance

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday launched its “Parivartan Yatra” in South Dinajpur district, beginning from Gangarampur and drawing the participation of several senior party leaders, including Union Minister and Balurghat Member of Parliament Dr. Sukanta Majumdar.


The political march set off from Gangarampur and proceeded toward different parts of the district. A reception meeting for the yatra was later held at Fulbari, where party leaders addressed supporters and local residents.


Along with Dr. Majumdar, the gathering was attended by Khagen Murmu, Member of Parliament from North Malda, and Kartick Paul, Member of Parliament from Raiganj. Several state and district leaders of the party were also present.


Among the local representatives who joined the event were Satyendranath Roy, the MLA from Gangarampur, and Budhrai Tudu, the MLA from Tapan. The district president of the BJP in South Dinajpur, Swarup Chowdhury, along with other party leaders and workers, also participated in the program.


After the reception meeting in Fulbari, the Parivartan Yatra continued its route through Patiram and is scheduled to enter Balurghat later in the day.Party leaders said the yatra aims to strengthen grassroots support and connect with residents across the district while highlighting the party’s political agenda in the region.
