Free Eye Check-up Camp Marks First Day

On the occasion of the two-day-long Shri Shri Gita Jayanti and Annual Festival, Bharat Sevashram Sangha, Balurghat branch organized a free eye check-up camp on Saturday afternoon, December 20, marking the first day of the celebrations. The eye check-up camp was conducted by Mahashakti Optical of the Balurghat Public Bus Stand.

Along with the eye check-up camp, several social welfare programs were also organized on the first day of the annual festival, including a voluntary blood donation camp and a blood sugar testing camp. These initiatives witnessed active participation from devotees and local residents.

As in previous years, the annual festival features a wide range of religious and cultural programs spread over two days. These include a Hindu religious education and cultural conference, initiation (Diksha), a colorful religious procession, devotional bhajans and kirtans, Vedic world peace yajna, Annakut offering, and distribution of Maha Prasad.
