Miscreants have been accused of tearing down BJP's election banner in the dark of night at Kushmandi in South Dinajpur district. The arrow of complaint is towards the grassroots. Trinamool denied the allegations. Trinamool's counter claim is that BJP is trying to come into limelight by tearing the banner itself. Protesting this incident and demanding the arrest of the culprits, the BJP filed a written complaint at Kushmandi police station.

Besides, BJP district secretary Tapas Roy has warned of bad weather in the Election Commission. It is known that in support of Balurghat Lok Sabha BJP candidate Sukant Majumdar, BJP has put up banner festoons in several areas of Kushmandi block. BJP workers found all those banners torn on Tuesday morning. Due to which a lot of excitement was created in the area later, the BJP leadership filed a written complaint at Kushmandi police station protesting the incident. In this incident, Trinamool has denied the allegations inthis regard, BJP district secretary Tapas Roy expressed anger against the administration and said that the flex barricade in Kushmandi with the support of BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar has been systematically torn up. We strongly protest against it. If the right culprit is not caught then we will complain to Election Commission.

On the other hand, Trinamool district president Subhash Bhawal said, Trinamool Congress cannot do such dirty things. It is not grassroots culture. This allegation is completely baseless. BJP is trying to be highlighted every moment, it is part of it.

On the other hand, Kushmandi MLA Rekha Roy said in this regard, we were busy in 'Janagarjansova'. The Trinamool workers were in Kolkata at the rally. BJP has done this among themselves to get publicity
