With the 2026 West Bengal Assembly elections approaching, the Bharatiya Janata Party has accelerated its grassroots outreach in the Balurghat constituency. On Wednesday morning, senior party leader Dr.Sukanta Majumdar joined local candidate Bidyut Kumar Ray in a high-energy campaign through the bustling Borobazar area.
Dr. Majumdar, who serves as a Union Minister of State and represents the Balurghat parliamentary constituency, led the campaign alongside party workers and supporters.
