A special program celebrating International Women’s Day was held on Sunday afternoon at Balurghat Natyamandir, where participants highlighted the role of yoga in strengthening women’s physical and mental well-being.

The event was organized by the women’s wing of Patanjali Yog Samiti, bringing together members of the Patanjali family from South Dinajpur district, including practitioners, yoga teachers, and local participants. Attendees gathered to discuss how yoga can serve as a tool for improving women’s health, confidence, and overall empowerment.

Speakers at the program emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and encouraged women to adopt regular yoga practice as a way to achieve both physical balance and mental resilience.
