In a modest household in North Kardah village, a two-year-old boy has achieved a feat that is drawing attention far beyond his community. Shan Baidya has earned a place in the India Book of Records for his remarkable memory and rapid recall abilities.

Shan, the son of migrant worker Sanju Baidya and homemaker Sangita Bala Baidya, has demonstrated an unusual ability to recite information at extraordinary speed. According to his family, he can name 12 vegetables in 23 seconds, 10 fruits in 28 seconds, 18 names from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita in 34 seconds, and 12 birds in just 47 seconds.

The recognition has brought rare joy to the family, who received a certificate, medal and gifts earlier this week. For his parents, the moment was deeply emotional, marking a significant milestone despite their modest means.News of Shan’s achievement has spread quickly through the village, filling residents with pride. In a region where opportunities are often limited, his early display of talent has inspired hope and stirred dreams of a brighter future.
