Organized by the Dakshin Dinajpur district administration, the annual parade unfolded amid a festive atmosphere, marked by the hoisting of the national flag and the presence of senior administrative officials, representatives of educational institutions, and members of the public. Against a competitive field comprising multiple schools, colleges, and uniformed contingents, the NCC cadets from Patiram Jamini Majumdar Memorial College distinguished themselves through rigorous drill, flawless coordination, and an unmistakable air of confidence.
Judges were particularly impressed by the cadets’ synchronized movements, disciplined formations, and evident esprit de corps — qualities that ultimately set them apart from their peers.
At the concluding ceremony, District Magistrate Balasubramanian T. and Superintendent of Police Chinmoy Mittal presented the championship trophies and awards to the victorious cadets from both divisions. The dual victory sparked scenes of celebration across the college campus, reflecting a shared sense of pride among students and faculty alike.
