With engines revving and party flags fluttering, the youth wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party organized a motorcycle rally through the streets of Balurghat on Thursday, amplifying its call for “Pariborton,” or change.The rally began at the Balurghat Town party office of the Bharatiya Janata Party and wound its way through several key thoroughfares in the town before returning to its starting point. Participants described the event as a show of strength and mobilization ahead of a larger statewide campaign.
According to party sources, the Bharatiya Janata Party is set to launch its “Paribartan Yatra” program on the 6th and 7th of this month. The motorcycle rally, organized by the party’s youth wing, was intended to energize party workers and carry the message of political change directly to residents.Leaders associated with the event said the broader objective of the upcoming campaign is to push for a change in government in the state. Thursday’s rally, they added, was a step toward consolidating grassroots support and building momentum in advance of the larger political initiative.
